This beautiful love session in winter started a year ago while I was editing some photos at home. I still remember how I got the call from Germany.
At the time, a lovely, and exhausted, girl asked me if I had availability to take pictures for her b-day. She also told me that she had to book a wedding photographer as soon as possible and her heart was beating anxiously, as she thought she was already too lateHers was the first wedding I booked last year.
During our Skype chat, she didn’t stop talking. I loved it, as I always try to get to know my couples as much as possible and it is really easy when they are keen to share everything with you.
At the end, I discovered a nervous and excited girl. She couldn’t believe that she had over a year ahead. She wanted to get married right then and there!
For me, it is quite important to get to know my couples and she suggested that I travel there (to Germany) for a beautiful love session in winter.
She wanted to show me her house, her doggy, her boyfriend (not in that order LOL) and I took 3 days to leave all my papers on the table, to put all my work off for the following week and went to Bremen.
So, one day in March, when Malaga was about 18 degrees, I took a plane and landed there with -11 degrees around me. My new adventure had begun.
We met each other at their home, we shared some beers, ate really hot food and laughed a lot. I even met their relatives and we walked around the neighbourhood while they shared their love story,
thoughts and concerns.
Finally, we said goodbye after having taken a lot of photos. I even put on a little weight but came back with a big smile on my face. The wedding was almost here and I knew that it was going to be really special.
